Secondhand Smoke and Children
Young children are especially vulnerable to the dangers of secondhand smoke. Smoking around children can cause:
- Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
- Lung problems
- Ear infections
- More severe asthma
- Problems with reading comprehension and math
